Luke 5:4–7
Jesus said, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a draught.”
• The miracle did not happen at the shoreline.
• It happened after they launched out into the deep.
• The deep requires obedience.
• The deep requires trust.
• The miracle was already in the deep.
• The miracle was already waiting.
• Jesus spoke the draught before the nets went down.
• Obedience perceives overflow.
• He declared overflow — miracle — before they saw evidence.
• The miracle was not in the shallow.
• It was in the deep.
• The miracle did not happen at the shoreline.
• It happened when they left the familiar.
• The shoreline is what feels safe.
• It is what we know.
• It is where we can still touch bottom.
• As we step into the new church in obedience, we are stepping into where the miracles already are.
• We can expect provision.
• We can expect abundance.
• We can expect healings.
• We can expect deliverance.
• We can expect salvations.
• We can expect miracles.
• We can expect what He has already prepared in the deep.
